With a broad background in the movement arts ranging from strength, flexibility, soft body practices, spinal articulation, dance and joint health. We can assist you in optimising how capable and alive your body feels. Simba has competed professionally in the realms of physique and strength sports while still performing as a professional dancer. He has undergone a physical initiation through deep study and trial by fire. Having battled and overcome a reactive form of arthritis in his 20's. He has a deep understanding and sense of empathy when it comes to healing the body from physical inflammation. Having studied under some of the worlds best body healers and movement practitioners he can assist you greatly on your journey for physical health and resilience.

2. NUTRITION & DIGESTIVE HEALTH 
CREATE A DIGESTIVE SYSTEM WHICH SUPPORTS LIFE

 

Simba has a wide breadth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition, healing and optimising the gut. He is a certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach studying under Weston A. Price’s model of Ancestral Nutrition, the CHEK Institute of Holistic Health and The Steiner Approach. In addition to being a skilful practitioner he has real embodied life experience going through his own serious gut healing journey which lasted over 5 years. Simba and has studied both modern and ancient modalities of nutrition and gut health having also spent time with one of the last Hunter Gatherer tribes in Kalahari Desert known as the San People.

 

With this experience comes an understanding of what is truly involved from both the practitioner and patients to heal and thrive. The digestive system is the centre-point of our being. 

 

As Hippocrates famously wrote over 2000 years ago -
"All sickness begins in the gut".
The problems that arise from poor gut health are not only localised to physical symptoms but also show up through negative emotional and mental states. Using a combination of cutting edge science and traditional knowledge of healing we tailor solutions with the tools to heal and optimise your gut health.

3. REST & RECOVERY
LEARN TO MANAGE YOUR REST AND RECOVERY EFFECTIVELY

 

I have personally experienced burnout from the corporate grind, pushed myself to the limit as a fitness enthusiast, and struggled with chronic illness that seemed never-ending. During some of these episodes within my life I entered and darker recesses of my mind and battled with real feelings of hopelessness. As a result of these challenges, I discovered the real importance of rest and recovery to achieving our most vital configuration as individuals. Learning to rest and recover effectively allows us to pursue our passions without compromising or health, quality or performance. Many people don't realise that we need various types of rest to truly recharge, keep illness at bay and bring creativity to the forefront:
 

  1. Physical rest

  2. Mental rest

  3. Emotional rest

  4. Sensory rest

  5. Creative rest

  6. Social rest

  7. Spiritual rest
     

In our coaching sessions, we will evaluate and measure our current capacity in each of these areas. Together, we will learn how AND when to incorporate different types of rest to support our overall well-being.

Simba is an accomplished student and practitioner of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) System, integrating multiple modalities of analysis and therapy, including Jungian Psychology and Eastern disciplines of deep self-inquiry. With a profound understanding of navigating an individual's inner world and dialogue, Simba has successfully coached hundreds of individuals through deep self-inquiry sessions in both 1:1 and group formats.
 

Simba emphasizes that learning to manage and understand your emotional states is a fundamental prerequisite for individual success. Through his guidance, individuals learn to disengage from the slave-master relationship with their emotions, instead listening to why these emotions arise and what they are here to communicate for their success.
 

Remember, gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you are to have even more to express gratitude for.

Growing up in Sikh temples and being an avid learner and practitioner of various universal forms of mindfulness, Simba possesses the tools to help you open up and guide you through the next layers of your spiritual evolution. His deep-rooted understanding is enriched by studying with renowned medicine workers and healers, giving him a comprehensive grasp of what is needed to connect more deeply to love and joy.
